Daniel J. Cox
Professional Wildlife Photographer and Guide, Natural Exposures
Daniel J. Cox is an internationally recognized wildlife photographer who regularly contributes to natural history publications including National Geographic, Audubon, National Wildlife, Sierra, Wildlife Conservation, and Terre Savage. He is the sole photographer for seven books. He regularly travels to Churchill and the Arctic to photograph polar bears and works with PBI and scientists to document research efforts. He contributes exceptional photos and expertise to our marketing and communications efforts, including many of the photos found on this website.
Tanya Cox
Photo and Tour Manager, Natural Exposures
Tanya Cox developed a love of nature and travel while growing up in Churchill, Manitoba, "The Polar Bear Capital of the World." She was raised in a tourist destination with a family involved in the industry. She managed a mobile lodge for Tundra Buggy® Tours for over 14 seasons. There, she met people who traveled the world, including her husband, Daniel. Today she spends her days in Montana running their stock agency, Natural Exposures, and planning their next photo tour. With Daniel's knowledge of photography and Tanya's organizational experience, they give their guests the trip of a lifetime. Tanya also manages the Guravich Library for PBI, a collection of historic photos from the early days of Churchill's bear-watching industry.
Robert George
Owner, Graphic Services
Robert George helps with all of PBI's printing needs. He helps ensure that our stewardship ethic extends to the way we print, including ink and recycled paper choices. He provides printing services to us at a greatly reduced cost because, like us, he believes "it's all about the bears."
Norbert Rosing

Norbert Rosing is an internationally acclaimed freelance photographer based in Germany. He is a frequent visitor to the Hudson Bay region near Churchill and author of The World of the Polar Bear. His work regularly appears in National Geographic magazine and other publications.
John Shier

John Shier own a broadcast production company specializing in films about the natural world. John’s work has appeared on the BBC, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, Smithsonian Channel, and PBS. He was one of the principal cinematographers on the landmark BBC/Animal Planet natural history series, Yellowstone. This series won the Best Limited Series award at the 2009 Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival as well as the Best Cinematography award at the 2009 International Wildlife Film Festival. He has contributed hours of work and talent to filming footage of polar bears for PBI.
Robert Taylor

Robert Taylor is an award-winning photographer especially known for his work in Churchill and throughout Manitoba. He is the author of The Edge of the Arctic, which beautifully captures the wildlife of the Churchill area, including its polar bears. He lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Daniel Zatz

Daniel Zatz is an awar-winning videographer and inventor. He developed weather-resistant robotic cameras that allow photographers to film wildlife in remote locations without the animals even knowing a camera is there. Zatz skill and expertise allowed PBI to offer a window into the world of the famous gathering of polar bears at Cape Churchill via a polar bear cam.
