Artist David Booth has lived in Soldotna, Alaska, for over 20 years. During the long, dark winters, he staves off cabin fever by drawing whimsical cartoons that depict life in the Far North. Inspired by the belief that laughter is good for the soul—and that we must do what we can to help the planet—his latest series takes an offbeat look at polar bears and global warming. This page will highlight a new cartoon from Booth every week. For more of Booth's work, visit his Web site, Cabin Fever Artworks.
