In these fun and challenging lessons, students use data collected from an actual research project to make decisions regarding ecotourism policies for the town of Churchill, Manitoba, Canada, The Polar Bear Capital of the World. These lessons:
- Integrate sciences, social studies, and mathematics. Link to fine arts are included as well.
- Offer lessons on environmental issues. You can expand it in a number of different directions to integrate social studies, mathematics,English/language arts, as well as fine and performing arts.
- Provide activities that you can omit or substitute others for depending on your time and goals.
