Live Broadcasts from the Tundra!

Polar Bears International will conduct a series of live interviews for the media from Tundra Buggy One on the shores of Hudson Bay during the fall polar bear migration. Scientists available for interviews during the second week of broadcasts include:
  • Dr. Don Moore, Associate Director of Animal Care, Smithsonian Institution's National Zoo, and a PBI Advisory Council member
  • Dr. Tom S. Smith, Professor of Biology, Brigham Young University, a polar bear maternity den specialist and a PBI Advisory Council member
  • Geoff York, Polar Bear Biologist, WWF-Arctic Program, and a PBI Advisory Council member
The scientists will focus on polar bears and climate change as part of an awareness campaign leading up to the December climate change talks in Copenhagen. Members of the media interested in setting up an interview should contact Shari Burnett at shari.burnett@polarbearsinternational.org or (778) 227-6917.
