Live Broadcasts from the Tundra!

Polar Bears International will conduct a series of live interviews for the media from Tundra Buggy One on the shores of Hudson Bay during the fall polar bear migration. The panel of scientists available for interviews includes:

  • Dr. Andrew Derocher, Professor of Biological Sciences, University of Alberta, former chair of the IUCN/Polar Bear Specialist Group, and a PBI Advisory Council member
  • Dr. Lily Peacock, Polar Bear Biologist, Department of Environment, Nunavut
  • Dr. Martyn Obbard, Polar Bear Research Scientist, Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources
  • Geoff York, Polar Bear Biologist, WWF-Arctic Program, and a PBI Advisory Council member
The scientists will focus on polar bears and climate change as part of an awareness campaign leading up to the December climate change talks in Copenhagen.
