
Notes:
Post-operatively, Sila was kept in a squeeze cage for 8 days and then a small pen for 23 days. While in the small pen, she was observed rubbing at her incisions and pacing with moderate lameness in the right forelimb.
At 1 month post-op, her forelimb was stable on palpation with no crepitus. Radiographs revealed a broken ulnar plate and shifted radial plate, but bony remodeling and good callus formation was also evident.
Sila was returned to a squeeze cage for an additional month
