Notes:
The specific aims of this study are to look at a number of estrous cycle parameters (only know this for giant panda, because in captive studies we can look at them on a daily basis, look at steroid levels, cell morphology, physical parameters. etc). We will be using a noninvasive approach and looking at estrogen and other chemical profiles in the species. We will be looking at scent gland profiles in nonbreeding and breeding bears.
