U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Publications

U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service is responsible for conserving polar bears within the U.S. It also recommended that the polar bear be listed as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act.

Every year, the USFWS conducts vital research on polar bear populations. As part of its public outreach program, its scientists have prepared a set of informative fact sheets on polar bears, covering topics from current research to safety issues.
