Season:
Fall

Adult Advisor:
Heather FIsher
Team Members:
Sierra Fisher-Dykman (age:14)
Isabel Bowen (age:14)
Sam Malloy (age:14)
Project Category:
Zero Waste
Project Outline:

Establish and increase school recycling programs including, but not limited to: food waste, paper, plastic, cans, glass, ink cartridges, and clothing. Coordinate these efforts with community partners and increase awareness about the creation of "trash" through various Public Relations projects (a school trashion show, a recycling fair). Begin a school composting program with the thought of being a pilot school that can "train" other schools in the district to make this district wide. Take these accomplishments and measure our impact, showing that kids can make a difference!
