Fall

Adult Advisor:
Amanda Greenvoss
Team Members:
Genevieve Warner (age:17)
Lindsey Sadlou (age:17)
Jonathan O'Neil (age:14)
Project Category:
Saving Energy
Project Outline:

Goal: to reduce a quantifiable amount of carbon emissions while reaching out to our community and local schools about climate change.
Specific projects:
School-Based Projects:      Classroom presentations designed targeted at two different age groups (upper elementary and middle school) to teach about climate change and the small solutions that kids can enact in their daily lives. The kids will take home a worksheet where they will keep track of the changes they make after the presentation at home with their family. When the sheets are turned in we will be able to measure the reduction in carbon emissions.
Community Action:  - Encourage Local businesses to green their practices through recycling and by helping them to establish relationships with local food donation organizations to reduce food waste AND provide food for people who need it.
