Upon review of our numbers for tangible reduction, Polar Bear Revolution has 700 CFL light bulbs distributed .
Through the distribution we were able to reduce:
574,000 lbs = 287 tons
of carbon dioxide.
There were also intangible reductions, based on our education and awareness efforts. We estimated this reduction to be:
2,353,400 lbs = 1,176 tons
of carbon dioxide.
Total Reductions Tangible and Intangible:
2,926,755 lbs = 1,463 tons
of carbon dioxide.
