Saving Energy
Project Outline:

Project Outline:  Our main goal is to raise people's awareness of how easy it is to access energy saving materials as well as saving energy in general..  We are hoping to partner up with Energy Trust of Oregon to help us give out the free kits they provide that include: Fluorescent light bulbs, an energy-saving shower head and a faucet aerator, as well as a fridge recycling coupon.  We are also going to be taking pledges from local citizens of Oregon to use less energy. Finally, we are hoping to combine several High school environmental clubs from different high schools in the Beaverton School District to help us request BSD shut down all schools power wise during our two week long winter break. (December 17- January 2.)  We are hoping that with all 46 BSD schools shut down, the amount of energy saved will be shocking amounts.
