We want to try the best we can to get our school and our community involved with our project. We wish to talk to other schools around our area and try to get one day where all the schools that we have talked to do a blackout. This would be a day where all the schools turn off all their lights (some electrical things need to stay on for safety reason though). We also want to try to get our program into other schools. As in switching from styrofoam to paper products, which are recyclable, also getting a compost at school, recycle at school, and getting energy smart bulbs where you can get them. Recycle saves energy in not making new items from scratch. As a group we desire to make a “Gaia Guardian Pledge” wish people would sign/take when they agree to become a Gaia Guardian. Because this project is not just about us, it’s about making other people Gaia Guardians as well.
