Picture perfect. And oh so obedient. Cubs are generally well-behaved because their very survival depends on what mom has to teach them and how well they learn.

2009 Finalist! GreenTree of Tulsa

Adult Advisor:
Becca Parker
Team Members:
Connor Cass (age:14)
Mike Barton (age:14)
Caroline Adelson (age:14)
Project Category:
Zero Waste
Project Outline:

We will establish GreenTree Of Tulsa as a non-profit organization in which we will strive to provide an easy and fun way to reforest Tulsa one tree at a time! Our goal is to gain interest and get people excited about helping the environment and lowering carbon dioxide levels and by doing so we hope to create a growing impact on our community.

Plan
1). Contact local nurseries or find donors to give us trees at low cost or at no cost.
2). Start within our school community and give each participating student a sapling with the idea to "Pay it Forward" throughout the community. We also hope to provide low cost trees to highly industrial areas.
3). Research and provide data that represents the impact of the trees that were planted during this project.
