Update I: Polar Bears, Eh to Zed

With the wind-chill at  –43 Celsius and no heat, the high school has been closed this week.  The Team took advantage and presented Polar Bears, Eh to Zed at Springs Christian Academy School.  This school is emphasizing responsible stewardship for its students.  Just recently they changed all their light bulbs to CFL's.  A small recycling program exists, but is being fine-tuned to meet growing demand.  (Happy dance)

We spoke in two sessions.  The kids were great and exuberantly participated in the QUIZ section.   Many of the classes have been studying the Arctic and other biomes and were quick with their answers.  Most agreed with the option of banning homework to save trees.  The teachers cheered this one more than abandoning all bathing to save water.  At the conclusion names of 10 students were drawn for eco-friendly prizes.

We had a great time and are looking forward to presenting in the New Year.
