Trees for You and Me • Model for a Nation

Trees for You and Me is a friendly competion launched by former PBI Field Ambassadors and members of the American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK). Now in its third year, the challenges raises money to plant trees. Your DONATION can support a win for AAZK chapters, polar bears—and the planet!

Each year, the highest-earning AAZK chapter wins a tree planted in its honor. But the heart and soul of the competition is really about the chapters' dedication to conservation and stewardship. Not only do the funds help polar bears by removing CO2 from the atmosphere and encouraging community involvement, but Polar Bear Forests benefit wildlife habitat in the area and bring beauty to the landscape.

You can help! Between September 1, 2011 and March 1, 2012, any DONATION you make will go directly to supporting tree planting by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) as part of our Polar Bear Forest campaign. See PBI Polar Bear Forests FAQs for all the details.

On the donation form, you'll have the opportunity to identify which AAZK chapter you wish to support. No doubt, it will be the one affiliated with your favorite zoo!

Planting Trees for Polar Bears is multi-dimensional program—a true collaboration of PBI, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR), the American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK), and a group of dedicated AAZK-affiliated zookeepers.
