Polar Bears International is at the forefront of environmental conservation and stewardship, which means we make educated choices about products stocked in our online store. Our purchasing policy meshes our aim to offer quality items with our goal of reducing our contribution to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and saving the polar bears' arctic habitat. When selecting items to carry in our store, we take into consideration the following criteria:

• Country of Manufacture:  We try our hardest to offer products made in Canada and the United States. This reduces the amount of GHG emissions that are released in shipping the products from abroad to our Montana headquarters.

• Materials: Whenever possible, we select items created from organic, renewable, or recycled materials. This reduces the amount of GHG emissions and chemicals that are released into the environment through non-sustainable manufacturing methods and collection of new resources.
