Our Team Andrew Cyr Board Director Andrew Cyr brings a diverse skill set to the Polar Bears International board with experience as both a practicing commercial lawyer and a business executive across the manufacturing, construction, and sports and entertainment sectors. In his current role as Vice President, Operations and Integrations Officer of True North Sports + Entertainment, Andrew plays an important role in setting and advancing the long-term strategic and capital planning agenda for True North and Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club, including directing and integrating strategic initiatives across True North’s various venues and businesses. Prior to joining True North, Andrew drove the successful commercialization of innovative building systems solutions as the General Manager of PARC, a division of Price Industries, and practiced as a lawyer with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in Toronto. In addition to his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, Andrew received a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University. During his time at Queen’s, Andrew earned a Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility and he has also participated in the Oxford Leading Sustainable Corporations Programme. As a passionate conservationist and sustainability advocate, Andrew can usually be found cycling around Winnipeg or spending time in nature with his wife Kirstin and two wonderful sons.
